I realize I’m almost a month late posting this but Cassie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on November 9th. Enjoy the pictures…..I’ll add more details later!

Cassie’s pregnancy is halfway through! She’s having a boy!
Remember that Summer Checklist?
Meh….you win some, you lose some!
So, as we bring summer to a close, I can only say that I regret not having more time off work to spend with my kids. Unfortunately, my bills whine louder than my kids, ya know?
*sigh*
Up next, Lianna turns Fo’dee’fo!
Well, it’s official! My baby is fifteen years old! Poor girl wanted to go bowling but the local bowling alley was closed.

Next on our summer checklist…..
Darcie is officially 23 years old! Per her request, we went canoeing again this year. We had a lot of fun, until I fell out of the canoe. Lost a few towels and my ex husband lost his glasses (whoops!), and my cell phone is trashed now. Otherwise, a good time was had by all! If you’ve never been canoeing, I highly suggest it. It’s a drunken good time, and judging by the numerous times we floated through a cloud of smoke, plenty of people take weed on their journeys as well! Admittedly, it was a great way to deal with 95 degree temperatures. We took the 4 hour trip, and each canoe cost us $50.
I highly recommend the Loudenville Canoe Livery, in Loudenville, Ohio.
Anyway, I’d like to wish my oldest daughter a wonderful birthday, and a fantastic coming year! Love ya!
Graduation is finally over! She’s officially an adult! God help us all! LOL!
Miss Cassandra has officially passed her 18th birthday. We’re getting down to just days before she graduates. This thing called parenting really does hurt your heart sometimes. I can’t believe she’s
graduating high school and becoming a productive member of society. She passed her state boards for cosmetology. She won a Kiwanis award for being an outstanding student in cosmetology. She has already gotten her first and second tattoo! She’s jumping into adulthood as fast as she can, and I can’t seem to hold her back. It sucks.
She’s also gotten another set of senior pictures done. I’ll post those separate.
So join me in my parental distress over losing another kiddo to adulthood….
I ordered this for my wall, and finally got it hung today. What do you think?
I haven’t posted in two months! Holy cow!
Well, the kids and I have been running our collective asses off. We’re in the middle of moving from our home of 9 years into a smaller apartment. That is, Nichole and I are moving into the smaller apartment. Ryan is moving into his own apartment. Cassie is moving in with him, but technically she’s still living with Nichole and I until she graduates. But–to save the second move, most of her stuff is moving in with Ryan. She graduates high school in two months. She turns 18 in six weeks. We have a lot going on right now! But we have even more coming up……
I’m excited for all these changes in our lives, and terrified as well. I’m starting to feel the empty nest syndrome though. It’s so weird to just have Nichole in the house. I spent so many years living with a husband and four (sometimes seven) children! Do you have any idea how hard it is to learn how to cook for just two after so long?
One thing I’m most proud of is my bedroom. I know this sounds stupid, but after all these years, I finally have a bedroom that I don’t have to share with anyone! I get to pick out the decor, without compromise. So, I picked the most girlie bedroom decor I could find, but it’s still a work in progress.
